Beckett can’t go to D.C. They could only play that in 3 ways:
a) Beckett goes to D.C and leaves the show, and Castle will from then on be about Rick’s life without her. This is obviously never going to happen because it would mean loads of people would stop watching.
b) Beckett goes to D.C. without Castle, regrets it, comes back and aks for forgiveness. This is also not going to happen because it would turn the show into a sob-fest and no-one wants to see that. Also, I think Marlowe & co. can do better than that. I’d be very disapointed if Caskett turned into a let’s-break-up-let’s-get-back-together kind of couple.
c) Beckett goes to D.C and Castle comes with her. This would be interesting to see, but what would happen to the suporting characters? They are important for the show but not enough for it to go back and forth between New York and Washington. So basically they would have to make a whole new show.
So yeah, my predictions for Season 6 are: Beckett’s staying put. She’s gonna say “not yet” to Castle’s proposal and hopefully they’ll work on their issues and by the end of the season he’ll ask again and she’ll say yes.
